A candid portrait of two boys who had been messing around in the flood waters.

The boy on the left kept telling me how he was trying to get home when they encountered the flood, while the other – the boy from my photograph Splashdown – kept talking over him talking about football celebrations. A lively pair. 

My first candid portrait of the year. Last year was largely focused on the outdoors, but I’m starting this year to balance my street and my country work more.
