On the banks of Blea Tarn sits a woodland, where trees grow in the soft peat banks. 

Spending time off the beaten track and exploring the woodland, you quickly discover that when the tree falls, that’s not the end. It’s just a change of state. Around the wood, you will see that trees have fallen and continued to grow, twisting themselves up from the floor and up towards the sky. I wonder if this tree will join them, but I think that’ll have to be a discovery for another generation.
