Pavey Ark is a formidable sight from the banks of Stickle Tarn. As you climb the ascent to Harrison Stickle, you break higher than the Ark’s 400ft cliff face – along the way, the sun and shade plays in the gullies. I think this view will stay with me for a long, long time.
