Street photography

Street photography was my first photographic love. Living in an English city only 50 minutes from London, I spent many hours walking the streets, learning how to use a camera and the craft of making photographs.

Though I now spend more time capturing natural landscapes and outdoor spaces, the me I spent documenting cities taught me to see like a photographer and many of the skills I picked up – composing at speed, reacting and observing – still play a vital role in my photographic practice. On occasion, I still like to head to the streets and document what was happening that day.
